Something for you, on my birthday 🥳

I turn 46 today. How is that possible?!

I don’t usually make a big deal of my birthday. It tends to come and go quietly. But this year I’m doing it differently. Because life is too short and too precious to let it just go by.

I realized that I have 45 years behind me. That’s 16,436 days. 394,200 hours. 23,652,000 minutes. Of living in this meat vehicle. And who knows what possibilities are in store for year 46.

The people, experiences, adventure, wonder, learning, and awe…oh my!

It’s not about celebrating me, per se. I’m celebrating the gift of life that I’ve been given. I’m celebrating the gifts that I have to give and the people I get to share them with. I’m celebrating the gifts that emerge from simply being myself in the world.

This year I’m showing up more for that. For the unique energy I bring and what’s possible through it.

It’s about damn time.

A friend once told me that Balm is my soul’s expression of love. That made me cry because I feel that’s very true and I’d never thought of it that way. So in that spirit, I want to share something with you today.
